Anyway when it arrived, my partner never got his lamb chops which he ordered, my chapati was rubbery, the mushroom rice tasted stale and my tandoori monk fish, was greasy and just not nice, so I ate nothing. I was so disappointed, my partner only ate his chicken but that wasn't all that either. So I would not recommend this takeaway, wish we had decided to wait 2 5hrs for our usual indian takeaway, that will teach us. for this place

I will try to be fair and not too harsh. I turned up at 10.30pm last Saturday night, so it was late, my fault. There was a street bar at... read more the entrance and a few people gathered there, so I assumed it was still open. I went to the entrance and a man said "we are about closed, do you know what you wish to order"? I said yes, a vegetable Biryani with naan if that is OK? He asked "is it OK with an egg on it"? I presumed he meant a plain omelette so I said that is fine... I asked for a pint of beer while I waited, they added it to the bill and served a beer. The food came quickly, I gulped down as much beer as I could and left with the takeaway, there was nobody else now waiting as the other people had left with food in a shared Taxi. I got home and prepared to eat, I still had half a plastic glass of beer to drink with it. The Biryani was boxed which is unusual, it had a fried egg on top, not an omelette as such. I dislike fried egg like that so binned it! I reckon the whole thing was a pre -packed meal that was microwaved, not cooked from scratch. I do get it that it was 10.30pm and they were keen to close and pack the bar away. Had it been 9pm or a more reasonable time, I would have been furious and probably returned back with it, giving them a 1/5 score. I'm hoping my next meal will be better, I will try to support them and get there earlier, my advise to others is don't get there late like I did, regards, Barry.
